A little Friday morning poll for everyone. Picture this... you've just won the lottery and now have $40 million dollars (20 million Pound or 30 million Euro for those of you over the pond) burning a hole in your pocket. Which so-called "Dream Guitar" would you purchase first?

"If the moon were made of ribs, would you eat it?"
You need an "other" option. :)
From your list, the Ric 360 for me, but that's actually the fifth one I'd buy.
First and second choices would be a custom-built Birdsong Cortobass (fretted) and a custom Birdsong Sadhana bass (fretless)
Third is a Taylor T5 Koa top.
Fourth is a Martin 000-28.
And sixth, a Taylor 355 Jumbo 12 string.
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
Ah, but the poll is about electric guitars!

I will buy all types of guitars, rather then a heavily priced custom model.(If i did win 40 million $$$ )
Strat, Tele, LP, Martin HD-35, Gibson SJ-200, Taylor 814CE, Taylor 12-String, Gibson Hummingbird, Gibson Dove, handcrafted Classical Guitar, SG, Flying V, Explorer, P-bass, J-bass, Reverse thunderbird, Hofner Beatles Bass, Casino, ES-335, ES-175, Emperor, guitar/bass effects of all kinds, full blown Bass Rig and a Marshall Handwired Stack. (Plus the accesories)
Is that enough ?
(P.S. - Don't get me started on Drums, Keyboards, Pianos and Recording Equipment.)
Ah, but the poll is about electric guitars!
Okay then, I'll put a nice piezo pickup and preamp in the 000 and the 355, and then they'll all be "electric", and they're all guitars (even the basses!) ;)
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
How about "all of the above and more!"
But you know I choose the Benedetto ...
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." -- HST
I'm quite happy with the guitars I've got, so I'd just get another couple of Squier Custom Telecasters......one for spare, and one for open G....
If you were asking about acoustics, I'd have a look what Nick's thinking of getting rid of....
Oh yeah - tonight's Euromllions Lottery has an estimated jackpot of £88MILLION.... hmm, maybe I should think about that Gretsch White Falcon......
:D :D :D

From your list: Gibson 335
My dream guitar: Gretsch White Falcon 8)

Well from the list, I'd go for the Benedetto, but my true dream guitar would be the Brian Setzer Model Black Falcon
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

I'd get a Blackie. They're only $24,000 a piece.
At this time I would like to tell you that NO MATTER WHAT...IT IS WITH GOD. HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL. HIS WAY IS IN LOVE, THROUGH WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT IS TRULY -- A LOVE SUPREME --. John Coltrane
I would get a Gibson Blueshawk.
Actually I would get two Gibson Blueshawks. One for the house and one for the stage.
Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?
Already got my dream guitar, but I'd probably get a PRS 24
I'd go with the LP.

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
If I had that much.....??
A pair of '59 Les Pauls.
One Gold with soapbars
One Burst Custom
Then I'd friggen fly to England (or Fly him here) and have Jimmy Page Autograph inside both cover plates and the back of each guitar. :)
I'd do the same with a Pair of Strats (white and Black) but have Dave Gilmour Sign them. I'd even pay Gilmour for a month of lessons :) Even if its just to Hang with the Man.
