Check out this axe, nice sounding rig
I like it! Thanks for finding it and sharing. 8)
If that was Steve Winwood, I seem to recall that he was a youngster, age 19 or something (just going on my ancient memory) who was good, and he was recognized, and got real BIG in a hurry. :!:
I thought he was younger and much skinnier though. He was a prodigy who met the demands of the big time, before we had the auditioned, groomed and pre-fab Disney teen idols of today.
What the heck, I looked it up so I don't make a fool of myself, it was many years ago, but '69 always seems to come out as being the best year for music? Trippin' back through time.
Like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.
Yeah, you can't go wrong with that year. The music, the instraments and the musicians! Classic song from a great musician. I'm not even going to think about owning a vintage guitar like that though. Will just make me cry.
Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
Nice Firebird, but as I recall, it weighed a ton.
I did a little research, looks like it's the model in the center

but I prefer this type of toggle switch. (maybe it's really a different year?)
Also I found an interview online, he actually used a strat for the studio recording.
