Seven Ravens

Local band from about 50 miles south of me. The guitarist has one of best clean with a touch of overdrive sounds I've heard. Plays a rhythm lead style that just amazing. To top it off they have a female singer that can put out vocals second to none.

Anyone who is dead or practically dead:

Portamento - The ability to move from a wrong note to the right one without anyone noticing the original mistake.
Harmonics - The buzzing sound that string instruments make.

Every Sunday morning is now a ritual of the Division Bell what a CD. Also discovered a Men at Work tape in the car (Cargo) some great tracks on it. Of course Genesis - And Then There Were Three - is never off the CD player - sublime CD.

Jayhawks Rainy Day Music - Jangly pop alt-country rock folk stuff. Hadn't heard them before, but really enjoying this record. A great one for guitarists, they get some real sweet Fendery tones.
I've been an absolute sucker for chiming electric guitars lately.
