Velvet Revolver

Blues

Box of Scorpions.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"

Dang if these guys don't sound like The Clash circa 1982 or so...

many, many playlists on the iPod... and i constantly use the 'shuffle' function

though i find myself coming back to mike oldfield, tangerine dream while at work... nice listening and i avoid the distraction of songs with lyrics as i want to sing along with the songs, if only in my head

hmmm this week...

Beatles - #1, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Peper, Let It Be (the original)
Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock, need I say more?
U2 - EVERYTHING

Pretty limited this week, as The Beatles have taken up most of my listening time

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Spoon - Girls Can Tell
Radiohead - OK Computer

currently listening to "All Right Now" by Free.....in the last hour or so, U2, the Stones, Steve Miller, Tom Petty, Deep Purple, the Beatles have all been played....

I have an on-going bet with the Mrs, if they don't play led zep, aerosmith or AC/DC in the first 30 mins after I turn it on.....I have to buy the drinks...

(Takes big gulp of cider).......

Last Cd I listened to was from a man called Abi Wallenstein, a really good blues player, who I saw live last saturday on the same bill as the the Holmes Brothers, who were also brilliant.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
