i am a newbie to guitars and want to buy one the problem is i have found two that i like and dont know which is better. the first one is a dean baby ml and the other is a nomad lp style the dean is 145 dollars and the nomad is 135 dollars can someone pls help me thnx

Dean guitars...the Dimebag Daryl guitar maker. they have a huge selelection of pointy guitars. I could not find the model you mentioned on their web site. maybe if you could provide a link.
Nomad has some handsome looking guitars. the LesPaul style reads pretty nice. however, when they say 'humbuckers' for pickups it isreally difficult to determine quality or potential power and tone. I am not sure where these guitars are made.
I have played some guitars in that price range. mosst times they feel nice, hold the tuning, etc. however, I find the eelctronics lacking. I mean, mushy tones with no distinction. where a power chord sounds muddy and noisy.
it would be great if you could try them out, having one in the hands reveals a lot. plugging in reveals more.
