By popular demand... acoustic guitar by family...

I voted Martin, but I own a Guild.
Any guitar can be the greatest. It depends on the individual guitar.
I've played $2500 Larivees, Guild, Martin, Taylors that as soon as I picked them up....put them right back.
I did get very lucky with my Guild though. :D
The one that fit me like it was a part of my body. The neck felt like it was an extension of my hand, the sound was perfection - no overnearing highs, mids or lows. The action was just perfection, easy to play but no sign of buzzing. The guitar was, optically, was the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa in wood.
Trouble is, I'm still looking for it.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I'd have to vote "other" - don't think I've ever played any in the list...
my vote would go to this....
Nick bought it off e-bay last year and sold it on to me...beautiful guitar, it has "soundports" on the top, you can really hear what you're playing....
:D :D :D

Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.

I wanted to learn to play guitar really badly and I think that I have succeeded.
i have both the Takamine' 6 and 12 string in the a/e EG523SC now so i guess they are my fav at the moment.
before that i played my ol' beatup Yamaha FG165S. guess i gotta thing for Japanese guitars.
i've played plenty other high dollar guitars that i guess i would like better but no real experiance with them.

Gotta agree with Lefty. My Takamine 12 is my Go-To acoustic these days
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

If I could afford them, I'd buy a:
Larrivee P-09,
Breedlove AC-25/SR+,
and a Blueridge BR-343 "Gospel"

I may as well throw in my vote (unbiasedly based on what I play  )
Lowden
Seagull
Guild
But to be fair, any acoustic guitar that gets played usually has my undivided attention and is the sweetest thing I've ever heard.
