I don't like the clunky new design at DMusic, and I'm having trouble uploading now that they've made changes. What's a better place to post music?

It doesn't appear to be very user friendly does it?

I only signed up yesterday and had a complete nightmare uploading my one track. If you look in the forums there seems to be a lot of people finding things a bit complicated.

I've looked around for alternative but haven't found much yet. Soundclick seems to be the next best option. Might have to create my own site to upload my tracks.

Hope you have more luck than me. :)

Thanks, Chuckster. I signed up for a Soundclick account. Pretty straight-forward, and a clean interface. I just hate the pop-ups.

Nick, you look a little like John Locke from the TV show Lost. Pretty cool.haha

I don't like the new DMUSIC format either, maybe if enough people complain they'll go back to the way they used to be.

I have always preferred Sound click although it has its faults, its pretty easy to use and it is free after all. I like the Creative Commons option it gives you .Also you can pretty much Upload as many of your songs as you like. You can also have more than one artist page ( I have a couple of SC pages just for GN projects)--the dog

BTW you can check out a lot of pretty good music there as well 8)

I tried to open a Dmusic account a few weeks back when I couldn't remember my Soundclick ID, but gave up on Dmusic when I kept hitting a dead end and couldn't figure out how to get around it. I had a message in to their tech support for help, but sent a second one before they'd even responded to the first, telling them to forget it and cancel my account--too un-user-friendly!!!

Anything, it would appear

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Dmusic is very frustrating. I only use it for the "Guess this riff" game. I post my other stuff over at Soundclick. I've never gotten any pop-ups @ SC either.

I like Putfile. It's free, uploads very quickly, and plays quickly when you go there.
