Well I was hoping to do a poll but guitarnoise doesnt sem to be able to cope with the amount of albums needed for this one so I guess we will just have to do it this way
Tell us what your favourite clapton album is
Then tell us what your favourite track is for electric guitar
and your favourite acoustic track
And why
For me it has to be Pilgrim I love the moodiness of this one a great late night, on your own album
as for tracks my all time fave is White Room why? because its the only one I can play half decent.
Favourite acoustic track is, (hmmmmmmmmm), well at the moment its Cryin from the Blues album because its the perfect little blues song with everything a blues song needs. but this changes all the time
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

I'll join you on this Rodders,
Favourite Clapton Album:
Clapton Unplugged. Just brilliant, need I say more.
Favourite Clapton acoustic song:
Layla from the unplugged album, why? because its just so relaxed and so different from his original version as Derek and the Dominos
Favourite Clapton electric guitar rendition:
Still has to be George Harrison's While my Guitar Gently Weeps solo done byClapton from the Beatles White Album only equalled by the version done by Clapton again on the Concert For George Album.
Peace & Love,
Your bruvver Chris
The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)
ALBUM - 461 Ocean Boulevard - bought it on vinyl in the 70's, cassette in the 80's and CD in the 90's.....still have all three, though in truth the original vinyl LP is a bit battered......
ACOUSTIC - Pretty tough to choose, but probably between Layla and Tears in Heaven.....
ELECTRIC - Badge or Sunshine of your Love from the old Cream days.....can't choose between the two...both have been favourites for so many years....
:D :D :D

album: Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
acoustic track: "Let It Grow"
electric track: "Let It Rain"
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.
-- John Lennon
Album-Layla
acoustic track -tears in heaven
Electric track- crossroads
This is my answer for today, I would probally have a different answer tomorow depending on my mood 8) :D :D
Album: The Cream of Clapton ;) Cheating I guess.
Acoustic: Layla. I love lots of them though.
Electric: Crossroads (this changes every second I think about it)
Clapton is my biggest inspiration, I love most of his songs equally, so I guess those favorites aren't relaly my favoritres.
Album: Disraeli Gears
Acoustic Track: This isn't really his but the time he played Wish you were Here with Roger Waters for the Tsunami Relief Concert
Electric Track: It's a toss up between his playing when he was in Cream, but I have to say my #1 is White Room
Hmm. I know I said Layla for the acoustic...But I put on the unplugged album again, and its a tie between Layla, Tears in Heaven, and Old Love.
Album: Riding with the King (Great duetts with BB King)
Acoustic Song: Walkin' Blues (Great slide performance) & because I can play it myself.... :)
Electric Song: Changes nearly every day... today maybe ... "Woried Life Blues" from the Album " Riding with the King"
its a great relaxt Blues song...
one he doesn't play on. sorry
I liked him with Derek & the Dominos.....Layla and Assorted Love Songs, Have You Ever Loved a Woman?
other than that with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers....Beano Album, Double Crossing Time. :D
