For me, probably a tossup between Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"; and the Eagles, "Tequila Sunrise"
Ghost Rider
"Colour made the grass less green..." 3000 miles, Tracy Chapman
Well, then, I must be in your age group, too! Mine would be........
'You Really Got A Hold On Me' by The Beatles
I just LOVE to play it!

"Don't wanna ride no shootin' star. Just wanna play on the rhythm guitar." Emmylou Harris, "Rhythm Guitar" from "The Ballad of Sally Rose"
My band's best song is White Room, and we know it. We have just got it down cold and play it very powerfully. I even think I sing it well if I do say so myself. It is just such a beautiful and dramatic song. It is probably my all-time favorite Rock song anyway. I still get blown away anytime I hear it on the radio.
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
It's a tossup between seek and destroy and creeping death / Master of Puppets i'd say.
I also enjoy "getaway car" "i am the highway" by audioslave.

And all the things you said to me
I need your arms to welcome me

Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" is my favorite song to play. Well really it's the only song I can play, so does it still count?

I'm really loving playing (and singing, though that part leaves a bit to be desired) Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees, and so that has become my best song at the moment.
My best song to play is probably Austurius (it's a classical piece.) If it's not that, it's probably one of my original acoustic songs, much easier to put emotion into a song when it's actually your emotion.
Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.
Proud Mary, I just happened to stumble onto the intro whilst fooling around with chord progressions and took it from there.
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

I never really did any more than a cursory learning of anybody's songs; once I 'kinda' got one figured out, I'd move to the next.
So I'm best at my own. My favorite is one called the "Kickin Chicken Shuffle".
Id like to say "Sunshine of your love" or "All along the watchtower" but honestly, the song that I play most perfectly is Kiss me by Sixpence none the richer...geeze...
At this time I would like to tell you that NO MATTER WHAT...IT IS WITH GOD. HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL. HIS WAY IS IN LOVE, THROUGH WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT IS TRULY -- A LOVE SUPREME --. John Coltrane
The only songs I've learned from beginning to end were at church. None are my favorite as I like them all.
One thing I have noticed, from my perspective, is that with guitar soft/slow and rock/fast songs all require good basic skills and technique for sounding good. As a drummer, I'd rather play more "rock" than "easy listening" songs. As a guitarist it's all challenging.
As a drummer my best song (from many years ago) was 2112 by Rush. That took some time to perfect. :D

"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
Stairway To Heaven - the acoustic part.
Music is the universal language, love is the key.
I LUV playing blackbird because i'ts all over the fretboard and really fun. I've also worked out a chord melody verison of redemption song with my teacher and i like playing that.
