My spouse has a very eclectic Cd collection, and will listen to almost anything. He has turned me on to some performers that have become favorites, for example, John Hiatt, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. He has little appreciation for nostalgia though, and if someone (like a very good friend of mine) tend to go on and on about the Beatles, he'll say they're passe. (blasphemy!!!) At the same time, he has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of pop music, and can tell you the name of the pianist on Layla, for example. Whenever I have a question about who did a certain song in the original, he can come up with the name off the top of his head. It's kind of creepy. :shock:

Yes Brad is quite the guitar player I'll second that.

I'm pretty lucky, my wife is into the stones, zep, the who, just like i am, but does not like
guns-n-roses or metalica , but i don't care for patsy cline or jimmy buffet. as far asmy playing
she loves it until, in her words " i lose control and go off and play 100 notes a second, there
is no need for that" so i feel very fortunate 8)
