Been meaning to put up a review for Dennis Locorriere (Of Dr Hook fame) for some months now.

Wife and I travelled down to Truro in Cornwall at the tail end of last yearto see Dennis in concert at "The Hall For Cornwall"

What a fantastic evening we had. Dennis puts on a very intimate one man show. All his old Dr hook hits and new songs are presented in his unique style. And, what a brilliant guitarist/vocalist he is. There was loads of banter with us in the audience and of course we all sang along strangely exactly were Dennis wanted us to. Also he presents great little stories of his personal rock and roll journey and of Sly Silversteen his mentor in between thee songs.

If you want a taster of his show, pick up his CD Live In Liverpool. Apart from editing it is so close to what we got in Truro. So next time he's in your neck of the woods go see him, you won't regret it. And, if you want inspiration to pick up your own guitar this is the guy for you.

Here's his brilliant interactive website too:

All the best,
Chris

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)
