Now that is a claim. Still, I have had a look at his site ( http://www.zagerguitar.com ) and am quite persuaded that it may be worth the money. Has anyone out there tried the lessons, or talked to someone who has?

My opinion on DZ is that he is a somewhat successful artist who uses his celebrity, and a basic setup that could be done by any competent luthier, to sell entry level guitars for up to twice their value.
as far as his lessons go YMMV.
i can't imagine that his "system" would be any better or less expensive then finding a good teacher in my area.
