I'd be curious to hear your opinions. I'm one step away from ordering it. But I'll wait a bit for your reviews.

Thanks in advance.

I'm trying it out now. Today is the second day.

Finger torture is what it is. :)

But I can see how you'd be better by the end of a week. It really is only 35 minutes a day. I'd recommend it for anyone past the learning to form chords stage, to the intermediate guitarist.

I'm dying to hear about the results. I saw the link on the site and wanted to post a question about it.

Thanks dntalb,

I kinda feel like a "Duh!" is in order. But I'm still curious to hear what the new wave of buyers have to say.

No problem jimdunk. I think it's a good idea to get as much feedback as possible on stuff like this. I tend to be a bit leary of offers that claim "amazing" results. The $ back offer is what finally got me to buy it. Hopefully jamir will finally get it & give you an opinion too. 16 days! Holy cow! I had mine in like 5, and that was over a weekend too.

Ok, my Vcd, not DVD eventually arrived, and i must say i am not impressed at all.
It is very much electric guitar and pick orientated, although you could speed up on an accoustic, I really wasn't looking to improve speed, but to get me out of a rut.
It doesn't do this at all. all it is is variations of 2 excercises which you are expected to do every day for seven days, well whoopie !!!!!
Other excersises I have got off the web for free are better then these ones, much harder and a lot more painful. but well worth the effort.
A total waste of money in my opinion and it is going back !!!!!
That is my view

On the negative side I wasn't impressed with the production of the video at all. Also, I wasn't awestruck by the quality or the depth of the lessons as an intermediate, I have to agree with Jamir, you can find better if you know where to look.

I did not improve as much as I would in a year. In fact I think I improved as much in a week as I normally would in a week. As a matter of fact there is nothing really "Amazing" about it.

On the plus side, I do think I increased speed slightly and definitely strengthened my ring and pinky. The emails are motivating and just the process of putting in the video each day gives you some structure to your practice.

Some of the exercises are tough, especially when you speed up. I like that. I mean none of the exercises are rocket science, but playing a G major scale using alternate picking triplets per note at lightning speed will tire your arm out quickly.

This next thing isn't really a plus as it is a truism about any practice, you are going to get out of it what you put in.

The only way I can think of value of the video is by comparing it to a real lesson. Was it worth an hour long lesson? Roughly $25? Nope not to me. Was it worth a half hour lesson, roughly $15? Yes, but only if you are a beginning electric guitar player interested in increasing hand strength and speed.

So Jamir, where are the free exercises you speak of? I'd like to take a look.

Nick

Hi'a Nick, i will type them up on my computer and email them to you, if you think they are good enough you can share them with the mob here. , i have hard copies, but didn't keep them on computer... well i did but i lost my "F" drive that all my music stuff was on.
What dissapointed me the most was his idea of getting you out of a "Rut"
and all these promises and i quote

Secrets of SPEED picking

The Secret the PROS Use to unlock any scale

The Secret the PROS Use to learn any SCALE quickly

The Secret the PROS Use to learn any CHORD quickly

The Secret the PROS Use to learn any ARPEGGIO quickly

The Secret the PROS Use to learn any RIFF quickly

The Secret the PROS Use to Power Bar-CHORDS

Also Included Are The 10 Secrets The Pros Use To:

Build Up and Maintain Speed

Improve Tone

Where did he come up with this from 2 excercises !!!!

I agree it would help with speed and stetching but that is all. And it is more for the electric player.... and I suppose i am going to be one of those now with my new "CORT" but I am still a finger picker, i hate plectrums
Go well
Ja'mir

Thanks Jamir and Nick.

That answers the basic questions I had. I guess, I was looking for something that would deal with more than just speed building. Good job on the reviews.
