I would love some opinions on my singing, if you have the time :)
you have a pleasant voice, on pitch, and the phrasing shows promise.
you do need to learn how to breathe. you are singing from the top of your lungs, instead of the diaphragm; your voice box is tense. it should be relaxed. go on line (youtube) and search singing lessons. there are some easy breathing tips out there.
thanks very much :)
keep us posted on your voice work.
+1 on what Dogbite said. You are breathing too often and not deeply enough. You ought to be able to get through a lot more singing on a single breath. Lucky for you that's not too hard to correct. If you didn't have a good sense of pitch or a nice sounding voice, that would mean a lot more work. You have the potential to be a good singer once you learn how to breathe properly.

thanks :) I didn't actually know that I wasn't breathing properly, haha! well, I know now, lol :)

Ashley....I agree with Dogbite about your breathing. Once you get your breathing down, everything else should fall into place. Do you have any songs to hear with background tracks?
