Hi! I've been playing guitar for half a year now, so I'm still a beginner. I've tried singing while playing for a couple of weeks now. It's only a small part of the song, excuse me for that!
I was wondering if anybody can give me some tips/opinions. Many thanks!
For a beginner that's real good! I like your voice. Sounds like something I'd listen to once you get more practice. Some areas it seems to be in key and pitch so it looks like you're off to a great start. Keep at it! I'm no singing expert though, someone will be able to provide more technical tips. I just wanted to say "hey you will sound amazing if you keep it up, it's a great start".

I did a new recording today so I updated it. (it's almost the full song now, sometimes with wrong lyrics, English is not my native language so sometimes it doesn't come naturally)
Can't figure out if it's getting better or not. (especially the beginning part is worse it appears, I don't know)
I happened to notice a "Singing for Dummies" book & had given it a thought, being vocally impaired.
If Dylan & Neil Young can do it, so can I....
Oh yes & pretty good start...I'd keep going....
Hm, I'll check it out! The dummiesbooks are not that bad actually (bought one about musictheory as well, which is a nice surprise)

What's the other version? Can you upload it so we can compare? Also I'll PM you a link (once I'm home), I found some videos that helps with tips and tricks to cure the nasal sound. I tried one of them last night (cause I have that issue too) and it made sense and I think it will help.
