Hi all, I just posted a thread to a song I recorded from Jack Johnson.

Liked it :D You where on pitch and have a nice tonal quality to your voice. You seemed relaxed and I didn't hear any sour notes. My only complaint would be that you had to much intro for my taste. I'd cut that down to about 10 seconds unless your going to do more with it. I've never heard the song before so I don't know if Johnson performed it that way. But after 15 seconds I was wondering if there was any singing on the track. It was getting tedious by 20 seconds. That's a small thing and it was over all a good job :!:

Thanks a lot! The intro is a little slow, and in fact the very beginning is quite sloppy, but its mainly because the whole sequence loops twice and on the second time through some simple drums come in. I didn't add those but kept the song structure similar so I could add them later. It sounds sloppy to me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

I've only picked up the guitar recently, but have always sang a little. Problem is my voice dwindles to a croak in public :( So I'm trying to become confident, but when I do, my concentration spoils the guitar playing! lol
I recorded it on a Boss Micro BR, with that being only the second time I've managed to play it through. The mic in that thing is very decent, even though its tiny! I'll be making another song shortly, although the lyrics are less important in that song. Probably Belle by Jack Johnson, because it has an interesting French feel to it.

and you know what i was thinking rather than just uploading audio..why don't you shoot your video and upload on some talent site...well i know one of the site called desitara.com
you can just visit it and check the talent videos over there...i enjoy all the videos...you get to watch so many talent videos and so many people give you comments and suggestion which impress me ... may be it will to you as well.. just try once...
