I like to sing a lot of classic rock stuff, but I think as far as voice is concerned I always wanted that powerful, soulful, gospel kind of voice. Like when your singing high notes they don't sound light but heavy. Like Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Robert Plant, Roger Daultrey, Steven Tyler, Freddie Mercury, etc. They all can hit high notes, aside from vedder since he's baritone, but they have a voice that's loud and heavy, like even though they're 20 something they sound like they're 30 or 40 something. I just want a more brash and layered voice, because right now I kind of sound like young voice and an old voice mixed together. It's very strange.
Here's a video. I messed up on the solo and it's the only video copy I have. I was singing it in a vedder-ish sort of voice and I can sing higher than that. I just don't particularly like the sound of my voice. Any criticism or advice would help. Thank you.
Did I miss something or was the video not posted? :)

Whoops  Now I posted it :)
Sounds good to me! :) I do feel that you are distracted by the guitar playing (or your guitar playing is distracted by your singing)--in any case, there are some awkward timing issues, especially in the Pink Floyd number.
This kind of this is very easily fixed by some dedicated SLOW practice. You need to have the guitar parts nailed in order to concentrate on the vocals. For the short term, if you pick up a looping pedal you can record your guitar up front and then sing over it. This would allow you to focus only on your voice, and we could then provide a better assessment.
So, to my ears the only problem is alignment of your instruments. You do have a good voice, even if it is a little rough at times. I think you have the potential to be quite good.
Rock on!
You're voice is good IMO, very good in fact. I liked it better in pinball wizard cause you seemed to let go a bit more, maybe cause you weren't as conscious of the camera. If you were on in a pub, I would come back :).
Advice... erm.... well in the video I saw it looked a bit like you weren't actually opening your mouth very much as you were singing. Open that mouth! The sound doesn't sound as good when its muffled by yo face!
But still, nice voice... I'd like to hear more :).
