I noticed I can sing when the singer is actually singing , But when I cut them out I sound like crap :lol:
Can anyone tell me what this is cause by or what it is called

If I'm understanding you correctly, you feel you can sing well only when you're singing along with someone else. Not surprising, really: The other singer acts as a guide for your voice. This is like walking on crutches. You need to throw the crutches away, but this usually takes some practice.

yes. absolutely. you need to begin to hear your voice. train it, exercise it.
there is a lot to it I am finding out.
but you know, what you describe is so common. it is classic stuff on TV sitcoms or commercials.
'someone is singing with the radio and behind their back someone sneaks in and shuts the radio off, leaving the singer
hollering out of tune and shocked.' classic stuff.
