i want a low voice like alex band from the calling. but i have no clue how to begin singing. is there anyway to achieve that voice? or i just have to stick with natural voice. actually i dont even know aht my natural voice is. i hheard singing is all about breathing..is that true ?
Yes a big part of singing is breathing properly. And you're pretty much stuck with the voice you where born with. Here's a link to a site that will get you started.

There's ways to "tweak" the way your voice can sound, and most of them aren't good for your voice. And the range you're born with is generally the range you get, although that can be extended by one or two notes through proper support.
