I could have stood a few minutes more of that. After a bad day, there's nothing like releasing that tension with some good old fashioned whaling away on the guitar, is there!

Quick question - what tuning?

I like the tone too - tell me Slickcat (good name!) is that Tele - the thinline in your avatar and on the Soundclick pic - the one you use for slide? 'Tis a beautiful looking guitar.

Yeah....thats the one. Its a Squire Thinline made in Korea. It has a ash body. I fitted it with a P-90 in the neck a Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue single coil in the bridge and a four way switch. I love that guitar. I can get soooo many tones from it.

Yep, that's a lovely looking tele - and as much as I love MY Tele, off-white with white pickguard, if I had the money to buy another guitar, the thin-line's what I'd pick - and that's a great colour. I just wish they'd extend the pickguard all the way around the bottom cut-away, though - my Squier custom Tele has the same shape pickguard, and to me, it always looks as though there's a bit missing....

Oh yeah - it sounds pretty good too.....

Thanks Steinar....
Thanks Dan....I have been mostly playing in open D and E.
I know Vic and a few others use G. Im working on getting the hang of open G I think for some stuff it has some killer Bluesy tones. Some people stay in standard or Drop D...but I think you totally limit yourself with one tuning.
Man I love this stuff!! :D 8)
