I've just been getting back into playing electric slide again after a long lay off.
I first started by subscribing to a site that unfortunately isnt running anymore, there I paid for online lessons done by an english guy living and running his site from the US, from memory it was called "crossroads" and you could stream excellent lessons from it.
Since then I purchased David Hamburgers Slide Shop, 4 cd set from
Its an amazing set with lots of different open tunings with 80 video lessons
pdf and powertab even came with 4 free picks.
I'm doing a nice piece in open D at the moment, really easy! its a great learing tool as the visualls help greatly.
If you go to http://www.playbluesguitar.com/lessons.html there is one of the "Slide Shop" video's that you can view for free.
If you have never played slide before and want to have a serious go at it this is the route I would advise you to take.
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!
