Hi everyone...I have been trying to join the forum and finally made it (Thanks Ricochet)

I love slide guitar...play mainly Open D on acoustic and open E on electric. Dabble in G for tunes that need it.
A Brass slide and P-90 loaded Tele is my weapon of choice. 8)

You said it Vic.....I went from a Gibby Les Paul to Strat and settled on a Telecaster...funny thing I went backwords, from an expensive guitar to a cheap guitar and finally found my sound! :D

Steinar....that Tele is a Squire Pro-tone thinline. I modded it with a four way switch and P-90 pickup. Its my favorite guitar.....I use it so much my Gibson Les Paul collected dust in the corner....I finally sold it.
The Squire is lighter and puts out some killer tone. I dont miss my Gibson one bit!

There's one word for that sound; Creamy!! Very nice tone, not what you'd expect to hear from a typical Tele (but then your Tele isn't "typical" either... )
