Charley and Lily
Lily is a wild child
Cattin round the neighborhood til two or three
Charley is more meek and mild
The view from his front window is all he can see
Running up and down the street she caught his eye
Looking out the window as she ran by

Charley calls from on his sill
Lily come inside and sit with me a while

Shiny rings and baubles in the latest style
She didn't even slow as she ran right by
over her shoulder she gave her reply
Oh Charley, dear Charley you handsome boy
You can't buy me with your shiny toys
Charley if you want me you must come and play
Then maybe I'll let you steal my heart away.
So Charley took a leap of faith
And landed on his feet there right at Lily's side
You'll catch them down at Park and Eighth
Singing and dancing by the riverside
Charley keeps Lily out of troubles way
And Lily teaches Charley how to laugh and play
Oh Lily, my lily white pretty girl
I'm glad I took the chance to give life a whirl
Now Charley and Lily just dance and play
And Lily let Charley steal her heart away.

Good start :D It's a bit simplistic in the story line, but that might not be a bad thing.
However, going into some details might add more interest. Right now it seems 1 boy sees girl; 2 boy must change to get girl; 3 boy changes and gets girl.....so the part where the most interesting details would be in "2 boy must change to get girl"
