Hello to all.
In honor of the Academy Awards (or not, depending on your frame of mind), we'll be using films for part of our inspiration this week. But, of course, there has to be a bit of a twist to it. So, pick the year that you were born and find a list of films that were released that year. Now, pick a film that starts with the same letter as either your first or last name. That's the title of your song.
So, for example, if my name was Ignatius Jones and I happened to be born in 1939, I'd look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939_in_film
and find that I could use "Idiot's Delight," "In Name Only," Intermezzo," "It's a Wonderful World," "Jamaica Inn," "Jesse James" or "Juarez" as my song title. All delightful choices, positively humming with possibilities as songs.
You only have to use the title. The rest of the story and song lyric can come totally out of your independent imagination.
Oh yes, you also get to pick a number - 1, 2, or 3.
As always, I look forward to reading and to listening to the songs you come up with.
Peace
Evening, gentlemen.

Duly noted, sir.
PM is sent. Hope you have a great Sunday.

5. I think they had talkies when I was born.
"5" isn't a choice. I'm pretty sure I wrote 1, 2 or 3.
And I'm pretty sure that at least one or two of the movies must have been talkies. We'll find out, though.
Peace
And if we were born before movies were invented? Just kidding
2 please.
I missed the 1-3. Sorry I'll choose 2
Not to worry, John. Happens all the time.
And Neil, if you're older than movies, then go with something from your childhood like a book title or the story that inspired those cave paintings of hunting mammoths. That'll work fine.
Peace
I'll chose 3!
Good morning, John
PM is in your box. Hope you're staying warm and dry today.
Looking forward to a song from you this week.
Peace
I'll take 2!
Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.
Hi Kathy
Our Internet has just come back online after being down since late yesterday morning. Sorry about the not-so-quick response but a PM is now in your inbox.
Looking forward to a song from you this week.
Peace
