Hello to all
It's "Fathers' Day" here in the States so let's go the easy route and have this week's assignment be a song that is, in some way, about fathers or mothers or parents in general. It can be specifically about parenting ("Father and Son" or "Beautiful Boy" or even "Watching Scottie Grow" come immediately to mind) or it can be a narrative that simply involves a father or a parent in some manner, however fleeting ("Papa Was a Rolling Stone" or even "Ode to Billie Joe" might serve as examples).
As always, I look forward to reading and to listening to whatever you might come up with.
