Hi Everyone,

This one's pretty rough. Not real happy with the third verse. Perhaps some one can give me some ideas. It will be appreciated.

NEVER'S JUST A WORD

there are mornings when I wake, see the sunrise, remember many years ago
all the times you told me, when you would hold me, said you'd never let me go
and ever since I met you, come to loved you, dreamed we'd always be together,
forever, but I've learned since then that forever ends too soon, and never's just a word

I'm lonely,
I'm lonely,
and I'm wondering where you are,
wondering where you are

there are days when I wander, streets I've never walked, I now walk alone
Things I never showed you, things I never told you of, far away from home
and I wish I could be with you, flee with you, somehow be together
forever, but I've learned that forever ends too soon, and never's just a word

I'm lonely,
I'm lonely,
and I'm wondering where you are,
wondering where you are

at night when I'm alone, look up at the stars, reminding me of you
I pray you're not alone, where ever you are, and I don't know what to do
nothings forever but I still have the memories of us together,
forever, but I've learned that forever ends too soon, and never's just a word

I'm lonely,
I'm lonely,
and I'm wondering where you are,
wondering where you are

Hi,
The chorus made me think of Cat Stevens' 'How Can I tell you' (Its not so similar but it just brought it to mind) so I read this as a Stevensy sort of ballad.

Anyway, I agree that the third vers seemed a bit weaker. Im not feeling inspired, & dont know what bits you feel are wrong, but if theres anything here you like . . .

at night when I'm alone, look up at the stars, reminding me of you
I pray you're not alone, where ever you are, whatever you're going through
I still have the memories, the future seemed so far away, our love would last
forever, but I've learned that forever ends too soon, and never's just a word

Cheers
Ola
