What happened immediately before?
An old man in tattered clothes was sitting in the desert outside an oasis; eyes blood shot; mouth dry; tongue swollen; salt crusted cheeks from crying all his tears; mumbling about taking it all back; he spent his life looking for a bridge back to Eden
What's about to happen?
A stranger young ruddy vibrant but weathered….he has a strength an endurance; the old man wants to know why the desert that weakened him has strengthened this man…..He is the painted desert beauty, the flash floods pour through his veins. He smells fresh like pine, cedar, peppermint and roses…..The clear star-filled skies have been a mobile for his thoughts….and he has traveled to those stars on cold desert nights….he's seen Eden and beyond….the desert and Eden are the same to him…..not one more beautiful than the other….anywhere he is, he sees the beauty of life……the younger man is about to tell the older man the bridge he is looking for is not an object or thing….it's a person….it's a spiritual relationship
