SSG10-Week15 Losing
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11425764
Place your bets; never fret it will lead to regret
Just begin with a grin; it's a cinch you can win
It's a love you can handle; just a game not a gamble
Quit losing sleep over me
Here we are beneath the stars with Hawaiian guitars
Hum a tune, strum Blue Moon, the moments opportune
It's a love if you're daring I'll respond if you're caring
Quit losing sleep over me
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep over me
Try, just try, oh try, Let's give it a try
Try, just try, oh try, Let's give it a try…and….
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep over me
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep
Quit losing sleep over me
James, you must have had fun with this one. Using a uke with a Hawaiian type melody.
Renee
Cute song. Well done.
I like it. I am left wanting to hear more. :)
Andy
Hi Renee, MrEWorm, and Andy,
Thanks to all for the listens and posts. :D I tried the melody line first approach again. If you haven't tried it yet, it's worth exploring.
I've been busy cranking out songs for FAWM this week as well.

aww, makes me want to be there.
i could go on quoting each line.
given the assignment i thought it was going to be about losing a match (sports). so this surprised me in the best way possible :D
James, i'm glad i came back to ssg this week, wouldn't have wanted to miss this.
sorry to be daft but what's the melody line first appraoch? does it simply mean finding a melody before writing the lyrics?
thanks for sharing!
