Not sure I hit the nail on the head this week, but I've given it my best shot.
Times Like These
I'm writing you this letter
I've got something to say
So I've put it down on paper
Seems easier this way
Sure, we've had some problems
But we've been there before
I never thought for one minute
You'd walk out the door
Chorus
I need you baby
Don't want to let you go
Tell me, do you feel the same
I've just got to know
I'm lonely and that's the truth
I don't know what to do
It takes times like these to realise
I want to be with you.
Chorus
I need you baby
Don't want to let you go
Tell me, do you feel the same
I've just got to know
If Practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect.. Why practice?
It's a little cliched, but what the hell....cliches are just a way of telling the truth.....strikes me as being rather 60's-ish, like an old Manfred Mann or Hollies song.....but it does work, it's got a nice flow/feel/rhythm to it...
