Hi Everyone

For this week's assignment I'd like a watching the world go by kind of song. You know the idea - you're in a cafe in the window and you just take in what's going on around you (inside and outside). It's not that you're overly involved but more just watching it happen. Paint the picture for us

Good writing

Bob

Looks like an interesting topic. For some reason this made me think of The Whitsun Weddings a poem by Philip Larkin, if anybody knows it?

hot day, clear sky
burning sidewalk
eggs could fry
young girls
bounce by
hard thighs
magnified

long legs
summer sandled
open toes pink nails
worth a gamble
too late
long gone
oh well
slow sigh

sip my coffee
just as hot
next girl
halter top
ah summer
sit outside
tilt back hot thoughts
life is good
at the downtown coffee shop
