Hi Everyone

This week's assignment comes courtesy of sozay - who PM'd me aerlier tis week with a suggestion for a topic. As I've been really busy this week (can't you tell Christmas is around the corner) I thought I'd adopt the suggestion. So for this week's assignment your inspiration is taken from a quote/motto/saying:

e.g.

Six degrees of separation
Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war
Keep it simple stupid

Have fun and good writing - thanks sozay

Bob

i think basically we need to take a cliche and use that for the basis of a song.

This signature is a forgery.

I guess the pros like that idea too.

I was a Cliche site to see if I would find some inspiration
and came upon a few song titles or lines that have already
been used.

All for one, and one for all
Back in the saddle
Bad to the bone
Be it ever so humble there's no place like home
Brother, can you spare a dime?
Can't judge a book by its cover
Cold as ice
Cry me a river
Cuts like a knife
Damned if you do and damned if you don't
Everything's coming up roses
Free as a bird
Go out in a blaze of glory
Hard days night
Have a nice day
Hit the road
In the nick of time
Knock on wood
Let's roll
Monkey business
It's Now or never
On the road again
Same song and dance
Signed, sealed and delivered
Take it easy
Take it to the limit
Thick as a brick
Time after time
The Times, they are a changing
Toe the line
Twist of fate
Walk on the wild side
Wish upon a star
You ain't seen nothin' yet
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink

John

i wasn't thinking nessaecarily use a cliche. i was thinking more along the lines of a famous quote that means something to you or inspires you. If anyone has seen "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", some of the character's quote alexander pope. i think those quote are probably what inspired the movie. they were though provoking. thats more what i was thinking.

currently number 60 in total posts... and shooting for number 1!!
