Tried Too Hard, SSG Wk. 36

This song is titled Tried Too Hard, it's kind of a humorous take on life and trying too hard to fit and putting your "blood, sweat, and tears" into trying too hard. As you read think, Sublime or Barenaked Ladies, it's got that kind of pop-rockish feel to it. And comments and critiques accepted gratefully as I am trying to work on my developing my skills in all different directions. And if you feel the need to kind of hear the music to make it work in the wording just ask, and I'd be glad to record it. Thanks.

I tried too hard to make this work,
I tried too hard to be accepted,
I spent all of my spare time,
Knowing that I've just collected,
A million things that will do no good,
And I've lost so much, that I could gain,
I spent nearly all my life trying,
Now I have to live with the pain…

Went into this life,

But when you get too old,
You have so much responsibility,
You have to worry about fitting in,
