What I had in mind was a cheesie Eurovision rock n roll song..........

Play, Live And Love
by Dave Harris

VERSE 1

The first hot day of Summer
People run for shade
Girl's wear next to nothing
They make a fine parade
Ice cream man, it's about time
To play your chariot song
Weather guy he smiles and says
Summer's gonna last all Summer long

BRIDGE/CHORUS

We'll party in the streets
Sweat between the sheets, and we'll
Embrace the feeling
Sing without reason
Dance on the ceiling
For Summer's the season
To play, live and love in the sun

VERSE 2

Band strike up the promenade
Play a feel good song
Twist n shout, let it all hang out
Nothing can go wrong
Sun comes up, we get down
There aint a frown in town
Were gonna make the most
Of every blue sky day

BRIDGE/CHORUS

We'll party in the streets
Sweat between the sheets, and we'll
Embrace the feeling
Sing without reason
Dance on the ceiling
For Summer's the season
To play, live and love in the sun

(Insert musical section, were Euro entry does silly dance......and Terry Wogan laughs heartily)

BRIDGE/CHORUS

We'll party in the streets
Sweat between the sheets, and we'll
Embrace the feeling
Sing without reason
Dance on the ceiling
For Summer's the season
To play, live and love in the sun

To play, live and love in the sun

HAha. I like it a lot. A big stumbling block for me is writing positivly, because, well , id rather be outside in the park when im happy... and I kind of anvy people who can write above sadness and you do it quite well. Also, the imagery is great, Its like looking at a text-ograph or something and I like that a lot in a song, even though im not familiar with the "eurovision" style :)
