Well I wasn't going to attempt a song this week , but after reading Mr Vic Lewis's song this week he has inspired me to get off my backside and at least try ......So I penned this and I must say honestly John Lennon's So This is Christmas was in my head ... So with all that has been said about Mr Lennon lately and then listening to Vic's song , I think I have came up with something a bit diffrerent about Christmas .
I didn't want to write something that one might expect a Christmas song would entail but I just thought I would put a different twist on Christmas like ...It actually costs to create happiness ..
Oh yeah before I forget explaination in Australia there is saying "it never rains it pours" = there is never just one thing ( good or bad) happening ..
pm me I'll explain in more detail if you wish ...
I call it :
Christmas According to Lotto

Always soo busy
Things have to be done

I'm a little disappointed that there was no reference to having to put up with in-laws for a whole day ....( that is the bit about Christmas I detest )

Actually I never even thought of the dreaded in laws ............. mmmm maybe a little edit here and there might be in order ....
I am really struggling with a chord arrangement for this ..
I started out with my old favourites G-C-D7
Then went to E-A-B7
Then went to A-D-E7
Just really can't find the groove for it ...
I'll just keep plugging away ( thinking of using a capo on the 3rd fret ) but mmmm we will see
