hey.. i finally posted a new mp3  no high expectations please.. it's not what you'd call original(nor well-performed  ), but it's an idea.. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=261882
Footsteps unnoticed
If we walked these labyrinthine streets
An hour apart, but both starting here
I could wait at this exit for days on end
a very fine stab in the back
I don't think you will find my trace in this maze
I don't think you will ever truly comprehend
What these words of yours did to my head
i didn't see it coming
a fine stab in the back
and now the blood just keeps gushing
a fine stab in the back, indeed
I daresay you won't.. find my trace in this maze
I daresay you won't.. ever comprehend
What these words did to my head
a fine stab in the back, indeed
a very fine stab in the back
cheers,
straycat.

Hi,
Great to hear an Mp3. :D
The music seemed to suit your style of song well. I couldn't make out the words very well by the time they'd been through my computer - but I liked the lyrics on the page. Favourite lines were "a very fine stab in the back" and also "I don't think you will find my trace in this maze" which reminded me of the story of Theseus and the Minotaur, so gave an added air of unseen menace to the scene.
Cheers,
Chris
Straycat,
I like the song especially the whole "stab it my back" thing
The Mp3 seems to be more of a song sketch that a complete song but
gives a good idea of where you are coming from with the lyrics.
In some ways it reminds me a little of Fiona Apple.

Hi Straycat
The last couple of weeks you've written some more songs which seem more direct yet still come laden with teh Straycat (or BlueNightAngel) imagery we've all come to know and love and struggle over. It makes your songs transfer easily to producing MP3s. I like this developement. Keep them coming - this is pretty good stuff.
