Hello,

I hope this is fairly self explanatory

Look Beyond ( Edited per Pbee's suggestions)

Look beyond the scars
The eyes that can not see
Hear more than the stuttered speech
And see inside of me

Look beyond the chair
These wheels that carry me
See beyond these withered limbs
To what I use to be

And maybe then you'll know
What makes this person whole
The body may be broke and beaten
But I still have a soul

Look beyond the fear
Of something you don't know
There's power in every human heart
To live and love and grow

If you

Look beyond the scars
The eyes that can not see
Hear more than the stuttered speech
You'll see inside of me

Hi John,

This is quite a nice tight little song I think. Good stuff. There are a couple of minor suggestions that Id like to make just to make it flow better to my ear, maybe something like this:
Look beyond the scars
The eyes that can not see
Hear more than the stuttered speech
And see inside of me

Look beyond the chair
These wheels that carry me
See beyond these withered limbs
To what I use to be

And maybe then you'll know
What makes this person whole
The body may be broke and beaten
But I still have a soul

Look beyond the fear
Of something you don't know
There's power in every human heart
To live and love and grow

If you

Look beyond the scars
The eyes that can not see
Hear more than the stuttered speech
You'll see inside of me

cheers

Paul

Hi John

Very nice song mate , I'm thinking slow picking style ..

That first verse is terrific ..

well Done John

Hilch :?:

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

Thanks Guys

I'm actually thinking of this with three singers
so verse one would have a different voice on
each line then all on the last line.

After that each would have a verse and the
the first arrangement at the end.

Thank's for the suggestions Paul they are right on.

very self explanatory!

I think you've hit the nail on the head with this one - rather than look for hidden beauty in a physical sense, as per Bob's thoughts, you're looking for the hidden beauty inside us all....

I think you found it John....reads excellently to me! I didn't see the original, so I can't comment on Pbee's suggestions....he does have a knack of spotting those little flaws and fixing them though, doesn't he! Pbee shall henceforth be known as Mr Fixit....

Excellent! When's the MP3 due?

:D :D :D
