Now that's what I'm talking about. We want to get to the point where you can make a tremendous number of choices and throw away the chaff. You have a great start here.

First bunch of phrases & couplets

patching up a history like snatches of a melody
picking up the gist, just slightly off the key

painted faces

so I wonder did you ever smile
looks like your dying for a cigarette

flavours on my palette, I can almost taste your skin

I'll be your witness

smokey velvet backdrop falling to the wooden boards

coiling dust-clouds boiling sparking fragments spoiling my perfect view

I misspent your time

a voiceless romance

hellbent to invent a biography

mounted on a nightmare

To chronicle manufactured conceit
to upstage the muse and recite the deceit
to narrate in the void
reinstate the destroyed
incarnate fabricate and complete

Cheers,

HagRider
