This should be easy.
A person is sitting by a desk, sobering up from a party night. She/he?
Echoes from the night passed in mind, angry words and conflict.
A loved one has proved to be an ass, done something bad and gotten caught
Ponders on what life has to offer, where he/she stands
What is his/her age and what to expect from life
Weighs the importance of the relationship against his/her own integrity
Finds out it is too hard for a simple human to bear so quickly
Decides it's best to forget about it completely, move on
There are things best left behind and not drag on them
Even though it may be a bad choice in some ways
It's easiest to hate, not keep in touch with those who were important
Because hanging in even as just friends only causes pain & troubles further down the road
So for now it's time to say cheers and enjoy life
Party some, and have a drink or a thousand
Get rid of all the letters, emails and junk...just press delete
