I think it's about time I made an effort and got my self back into the swing of GN.

Real life has intruded in all sorts of ways, including an uninterrupted (or so it seemed) series of nasty happenings - my father in law died suddenly and unexpectedly, I had heart surgery (not serious, but bad enough) followed by our car being written off the day after I got out of hospital (I was in it and suffered nothing more than a very high blood pressure) and 2 days before Xmas. I have now been diagnosed as having a form of skin cancer - blight of the pale skinned, unfortunately.

Through all of his my playing has suffered, as has the time to practice. But you know the old saying "Where there's a will, there's a won't"

Best

Graham

<insert snappy comeback here>

Oh my, that's quite a combination. At least your karmic road should be clear for a while (assuming the skin cancer is "easy" to treat). Recover at your own pace, which likely means that there will be good days and not-so-good days. Work when you can, play when you can, and rest when you need to.

You'll be back to full strength soon enough.

I'm so sorry to hear everything that you've been going through. Hopefully, though, you've gotten all of the bad stuff out of the way and you can move on to the good stuff now. I'm thankful that you're alright and I'm glad you're back!

Hmmm - shouldn't that be, "Where there's a will, there's a bunch of fighting relatives?"

I'm glad to see they're still breeding 'em tough over t'other side o't' Pennines, though.

Phew.....I thought it was something serious for a minute. Not that I was worried, but I was scanning the German newspaper obits for news of a freak Oktoberfest accident involving guitars and beer and the wenches that serve it, but I didn't find any so I assumed you were okay.

Take it easy, get better and continue getting old gracefully.

Good to hear from you again, Graham. Paul, ever the omnipotent leader, knew you'd be popping in this week and put up a new logo just to welcome you back! :wink:

Seriously, health and family first. And since we're all family, we're glad to see you again.

Peace

Welcome back, Graham. We all really missed you.

I've ordered some fresh subs to replace the old sandwiches. Healthier choice.
