I've been trying real hard to find some female fingerstyle players (steel string) on youtube, do they exist? I know of Kaki King, but that's it. There's something about a woman playing a guitar in a world full of famous male performers that inspire me.
Can you guys, if you know any, care to share and point the way?

There are some fantastic classical players as well. Ana Vidovic, Sharon Isbin, Li Jie, Xuefei Yang and believe it or not Charo is a pretty good player.

Surprised no one's mentioned Janis Ian. She doesn't play the piano any longer but has arranged incredible guitar versions of her old material. More than worth a listen.
