Hi, all.
I was just wondering whether anybody else played this track, and if so, what do you sing for the last verse? I don't know about you, but I don't feel quite comfortable singing:
"As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River Valley
And the love we exchanged mid the flowers"
Because it doesn't feel quite "right" for me.
Any suggestions as to what I could do to replace this verse, but keep the length of the song?
Thanks,
Shady
Take care,
Casey
I haven't heard the song but maybe you could just change it to:
"As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River Valley
and the laughs we exchanged mid the flowers."
or
"As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River valley
Talking and laughing among the flowers."
Or something like that... :D :? :D
