how about a lesson containing a list of amp and guitar settings and a lick or two for a variety of musical styles ? it would certainly help out people testing new gear in store
example - a decent garage rock sound, gain 8, treble 7, mid 5, bass 8, and a lick with a well recorded mp3 of how it's supposed to sound.
that way if people knew what they wanted and how it was supposed to sound it might make choosing gear a bit easier
