Right off the bat, the pages at the bottom are labeled 1, 2, 3, ... 14, 15, 16, so, right there, you can skip ten and..... (a little tip) if you click on the second page, it says "50" at the end in the address bar...... if you want to go to page 5, just punch in "200". It goes in increments of 50.

Mine isn't labeled like that, like if i go to Beginner Q&A it says 123......57 58 59.

WOW! I didn't realize they stored that many pages! :shock: Anyway, I figured the Opinions forum had a lot so I checked that one.

Well, if you are just browsing, use the tip I gave you. That way, you can go to any page you want.

If you look at the address line at the top of the page, you'll see something like this:

https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4037

If you click on there, you'll be taken to the start of that thread and shown the first 15 posts. Go to page 3 and you'll see this:

https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4037&start=45

Do you notice the difference? It adds "&start=45" to the end of the address. I said that it was page 3 and there are 15 posts per page, so 3 x 15 = 45, the same as the "&start" parameter. To skip to page 25, just multiply 25 by 15 and change the line to read:

http://forums.guitarnoise.com/viewtopic.php?t=4037&start=375 - I haven't made it a hyperlink, because this thread doesn't have 25 pages, but you get the idea.

They mean for you to not look at the page links but rather to go up to your address bar (above the actual page) and make the changes to the end numbers there. You can skip 50 pages if you want to! :D
