i use smaller strings (.09) for lower action and easier bends on this guitar. I have used ernie power strings too and it gave me a lot more sound but ...

in my opinion stratacoustic is a good little guitar. I replaced the standard bridge, use .09 strings, and ajusted the trust rod. very very low action ...
