    I liked your family tree chart at the end of the article and thought it would be even more interesting if included a Frank Zappa branch. Terry Bozzio, Chester Thompson, Eddie Jobson, Adrian Belew and probably a few other members of the bands you’ve included cycled through Zappa’s constantly evolving travelling circus.

    It is such a concise essay and yet insightful, so I like it very much, but my question is: are The Beatles considered as prog rock forerunners band anyhow? Thanks in advance for your kind reply.
