Since posting my review of the Roadie 3 Guitar Tuner a few months ago I’ve received a lot of questions. The most common ones are about the list of tunings available. If anything, I think people just want to see a complete list of all the available tunings.
In point of fact, you can add any tuning you want to the Roadie 3. But I’ll satisfy your curiosity with a list of all the guitar tunings on my Roadie 3.
A couple of quick things first. Roadie 3 doesn’t come pre-loaded with 150 different guitar tunings. My Roadie 3 has 38 guitar specific tunings. However, there are tunings available for 13 different instruments including banjo, mandolin and ukulele, all of which have a different number of strings. The number of possible combinations of tunings and instruments is more than 150.
Some more good news is you can create any custom tuning you like with the Roadie 3. Using the Roadie 3 App smartphone app you can rearrange the tunings into any order you like. Generally speaking I think the tunings are already ordered from the most to least commonly used. But you may have a favorite tuning that you want showing up first every time, perhaps down half a step down or the less common Nick Drake tuning if that’s your thing.
So, without further ado, here is a list of all the tunings that come preset for guitar on the Roadie 3. Don’t forget to check out my review if you are thinking about buying a Roadie 3.
