Mind Wasting Guitar Hero
Never mind that there is now a Guitar Hero III; and never mind how mind-numbing and time-wasting this is; most importantly, never mind that this won’t help your guitar playing in the least – sometimes you just have to say “so what!”
Here’s a free version of Guitar Hero II that you can play online. Have fun with it. The game: Guitar Hero II. (link removed)
Big Warning: those of you trying to sneak in a few games a work, this blasts out some loud rock tunes at the startup. The mute button is in the game screen’s top right corner if your boss is within earshot.

I have played Guitar Hero 2 or 3 i don’t know and i can tell first hand that it doesnt even get close to the real thing, i was bored with 3 minutes, but maybe it works to get kids to play a instrument, ho knows.

All true, but I’d rather be playing Madden.

Paul, we guitar players have to realize it’s no different than playing Madden. It’s not at all like coaching or playing football, it’s just a fun diversion. Much like karaoke is just a fun way to sing in front of others. For some reason, guitar players are way too indignant over this particular video game, when it’s no different than shooting bad guys in cyberspace. At least it gets kids interested in music.

Yeah, there is no way a online game can emulate holding a REAL plastic guitar controller in your hand. Here’s another really bad rip off: Super Crazy Guitar Maniac 2 – http://www.funny-games.biz/super-crazy-guitar-maniac-2.html
