$hannon, Nick & $ophie would know this one right away.

I should know the riff, as I watched one of their live specials on VH1 Classic recently ... :x
There's a new soft drink commercial out right now that this song is in too. It has a KISS of cherry.

I love the look on Gene's face when Nick comes out & corrects him.

LOL, yeah, that's a good commercial. :)
Well I had trouble recording this; it sounded great in audacity and kristal, but every time I'd convert it to MP3 it just got fizzy (not like soda. ) Well, that's how it sounds on my tinny little pc speakers. Hopefully you can make out the riff; if not I'll redo it.

Yeah, I have a teen aged son... I've made that face plenty of times!
I can make out your riff just fine. 8) We'll give it awhile & see if anyone else wants to jump in.

Hey thanks Dan. I think I figured out what happened; I had inadvertently turned on the low-cut filter on my recorder, so the sound was a little thin to begin with, but things got much worse when converting to MP3 at 128kbits (for soundclick.) All the nice higher frequencies got clipped and then sounded much more fizzy. Live and learn!
Oh, a hint: don't be batty; get on board!
Style points for the zig zag across the riff spectrum, Gabba. From Yes to this guy... :)
And good clues. I needed them.
But I've got nothing ready, so I'll have to leave it. Hopefully, we can find a new player or two.
:)

Crazy, but that's how it goes!
One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.
If nobody else has one
See my post from above; still not guessed but please do! You'd be CRAZY not to! :D
Nice recording, by the way. Please share your setup. 8)

Sorry for the delay; that's it of course. :)
Elpantalla's up!
I think we're going to need some clues.
