O.k., so I'm stealing this game idea from KFOG radio in SF, but they stole it from another station, so I don't feel too bad. The object is to guess the connection between three or more song titles, albums, bands, musicians or whatever. The answer could be a key word, a musician, similar lyrics or anything else that has a connection.
For example, if I give you three song titles... "More Than a Feeling", "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" and "Imaginary Lover" you'd know that they were done by Boston, Chicago and Atlanta Rhythm Section. So obviously, the connection is  bands with cities in their names.
The only catch is you have to name all three songs, albums, bands or whatever it is that makes the connection. No cheating and saying "I know two out of the three, so I'm going to guess the answer." You can ask the poster for clues, as I'm sure some of you guys will come up with real stumpers :? . The one with the correct answer gets to post the next question.
So, to start out, we'll go with an easy one...
What's the connection between the following:
'About Face'
'The Madcap Laughs'
'The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking'
Dave "Who" Else
They are all by (ex-)members of Pink Floyd.
'About Face' - David Gilmour
'The Madcap Laughs' - Sid Barrett
'The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking' - Roger Waters
OK, here's one:
Mack the Knife
James Bond Theme
The Pineapple Song
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Did Kurt Weill have anything to do with all three?
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.
-- John Lennon
No. Kurt Weill was involved in two, but you're warm.
Thinking about it, the second one is a little bit of a cheat, but there is a connection to the other two - if you can find the right one.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Hmm, can't quite imagine Brecht and the Bond theme. Lotte Lenya? Or did Ella Fitzgerald sing all three in Berlin?
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.
-- John Lennon
I've found Louis Armstrong linked to two of the three, but only vaguely linked to the third :? . Am I on the right track???
Hmm, can't quite imagine Brecht and the Bond theme. Lotte Lenya? Or did Ella Fitzgerald sing all three in Berlin?
Musen, you got it. It is Lotte Lenya. Lotte Lenya played Rosa Kleb in From Russia with Love - to the tune of the Bond theme.
She is mentioned in the song Mack the Knife - although the original had another name.
She played Fräulein Schneider in the original cast of Cabaret - and sang the Pineapple Song
The fact that she was, for several years, Kurt Weill's wife was somewhat irrelevant.

Whew -- that was a tricky one.
Mine's probably a bit easier.
"Fame"
"We Love You"
"Only You (And You Alone)"
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.
-- John Lennon
John Lennon?
He sang on David Bowie's song 'Fame'
- he also sang on Rolling Stones' 'We Love You'
and he played acoustic guitar on RIngo Star's 'Only You and You Alone'
(I had a little help from my brains trust ) (That Lotte Lenya is an interesting character, I looked her up)
Yep! It's your turn now. (Btw, Lennon's also on guitar on Bowie's "Fame." It came from a jam session with Bowie and Aldovar -- all three have co-writer credit).
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.
-- John Lennon
(That Lotte Lenya is an interesting character, I looked her up)
She must have had a really interesting life and, yet, she is, to most people, totally unknown.
It was Louis Armstrong that immortalised her in Mack the Knife. She was in the studio, during the recording and Satchmo improvised and changed
Sukey Tawdry, Jenny Diver
Polly Peachum, Lucy Brown
Oh the line forms on the right, dear
Now that Mack is back in town
to
Suky Tawdry, Jenny Diver,
Look out, Miss Lotte Lenya and old Lucy Brown
These have become the "standard" lyrics.

Thanks Greybeard, that's interesting, I saw that she'd done Mack the Knife with Louis Armstrong but didn't know he'd changed the words for her , what a great tribute- I'll have to go and look up some of her recordings.
Thanks Musenfreund, they've all done a lot more collaborating than I'm aware of.
For my turn, it should be easy:
The Royal Scam
Santamental
The Jazz King :note2: :note1:
O.k., here's one connection I found:
'The Royal Scam' -Steely Dan, Larry Carlton guitar
'Santamental' -Steve Lukather & Friends, Larry Carlton arranged "The Christmas Song"
'The Jazz King' -musical compositions by Larry Carlton & Friends
Is that the correct connection :?:
Dave "Who" Else
Yes, well done Dave, you got it!
Over to you :note2: :note1:
O.k., how about this...
'Hair'
'Rocky Horror Picture Show'
'Free for All'
