I am sure this has been done before, but what type of Strings do you prefer for acoustics and for electric?
Personally i Use Ernie Ball Super Slinky for My 'lectric. I have only changed the strings on my acoustic once so I have no preference there.

Super Slinkies for me too.

As for acoustic my new guitar came with D'addario's fitted. Can't think of a reason to change them for anything else when the time comes.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.

Here we go.....

I'll bet we have about a hundred Different answers on this one.

But IMHO:

Electric: D'addario 10's
Acoustic: Ernie Ball Earthwood 10's

I have Dean Markley Phos-bronze 12's on my Indiana dreadnought, (tuned down half a step to Eb-thanks, Ricochet and Misanthrope for that one!); on the Hohner folkie, there are D'addario Phos-bronze 10's; and on the half-size Little Lyon there are Ernie Ball Super Slinky 10's. So far, so good with all of them.

Electric : Don't have one at present, used to use Fender Bullets on my Strat.

Acoustic : D'Addario EXP coated 12's...last somewhat longer than the coated Elixir Nanoweb 12's I tried before.
They both last way longer than cheaper strings seem to...for me, anyway.

DR Pure Blues 10s or Fender Bullet 9s

Our songs also have the standard pop format: Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, bad solo. All in all, I think we sound like The Knack and the Bay City Rollers being molested by Black Flag and Black Sabbath.
